Revival for Today’s Generation
Addressing all believers in Christ Jesus not with condemnation of sins but with righteous judgment of principles. The following is a basic reminder of Israel “the wife of YHWH’ “reaping & sowing of Revivals.
Many people in the charismatic movement & other denominations both leadership and flock in the past 30 to 50 years have lost their way to pagan gods and traditions just the same as Israel did, we have lost biblical & kingdom principal Jesus layout for us to keep in order for love to be a power horse of blessings. I will not go into naming the ones for divisions because we all answer to one King & are united as one body.
I will go into the details of problem areas of the PAST and show how when leadership goes astray it effects to the whole kingdom community in the sight of the Father as noted in the Old Testament. Which today is happing to all generations that follow after these leaders by their example over Biblical instructions.
Foundation for Revival | There was a cry for revival
Key points for the church here:
Firstly is when YHWH said “I heard their groaning” as one voice he answered in revival.
Secondly GOD is making a history declaration here for all too remember his name YHWH and to give glory to him for the victory and blessings about to happen.
This was the message to the first wife, today in Christ we are the new bride his victory on the cross a greater then of the any other victory in history as it is victory of Satan and Death itself. But the history of the first wife Israel still serves as a testimony NOT to make the same mistakes.
Body of Christ | Body of YHWH – God will move mountains for those who devote to him!
We all know the events that took place in bringing the people out of bondage and into promise land so let’s now fast-forward to the times where the blessings over the kingdom was under judgment.
The fall of Solomon
1. Solomon's unlawful marriages - King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites; from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel, "You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.
2. Polygamy - Rejecting God's plan from the beginning for one man and one woman to become one flesh in marriage (Matthew 19:4-6, Genesis 2:23-24).
3. Solomon's wives turn him away from God - that his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God.
This is a tragic example of the power of the lust of the flesh. Solomon was “blinded by the gods of that age” 2 Corinthians 4:4.
He found himself burning incense at the altars of depraved pagan gods. He found himself at the altar of child sacrifice unto the god Molech. This blindness is possible to affect believers if we choose to ignore the conviction of the Holy Spirit telling us not to become subservient to another god.
SOLOMON'S SIN WAS BASE INGRATITUDE AND A WASTE OF GREAT SPIRITUAL PRIVILEGE. (Hebrews 6) in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned.
NOW if we analyze the situation closely, it was the sin of going after other gods that lead Lord to anger and after warnings to repent “appearing to him twice”, he did not, so the refusal to obey the warnings to repent lead to harsh judgment. The Lord also noted his father David as righteous even though David had conspired to kill a man for a lustful affair, so the lust of Solomon was not the shameful act. For lust is a sin of the flesh but worshiping another god after being positioned in leadership via the true God is an epic fail.
Because of this Israel lost its blessing and protection from the Lord and the kingdom was broken up. The promise land was eventually let go to another nations.
Tearing Down the Kingdom
During the reign of Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, the kingdom of Israel was split into two smaller kingdoms (Israel, 10 North tribes) & Judah kingdom of the tribe Benjamin in the South. The division was over high taxes.
1 Kings 12 “My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to your yoke; my father disciplined you with whips, but I will discipline you with scorpions." (Sounds like prosperity abuse)In 722 BC, The Assyrians conquered Israel (10 tribes). The Assyrians were aggressive and effective and when they conquered Israel, they forced the ten tribes to scatter throughout their empire.
In 597 BC Babylonians, Nebuchadnezzar became the new king of Judah by force, Nebuchadnezzar deported around 10,000 Jews to his capital in Babylon; all the deportees were drawn from professionals, the wealthy, and craftsmen. Ordinary people were allowed to stay in Judah. This deportation was the beginning of the exile. The temple of Solomon was also destroyed.
THE REVIVAL OF THE SECOND EXILE
Even today the full kingdom of Israel has not been totally restored for all 12 tribes, although in Jesus’ new Spiritual Kingdom they are all united. The other nations are grafted into the Spiritual Kingdom.
However, there was a Revival of the Southern Kingdom of Judah, and the Messiah Jesus came from this tribal blood line to lead an eternal revival it is royal line of David.
After 70 years the Southern Kingdom was reclaimed and the tribes returned to re-settle and rebuild. “Let us rise up and build.” Nehemiah 2:18
The restoration back to blessing.
· They all were numbered 42,360 as one assembly - Nehemiah 7:66
· All 42,360 gathered for the first time as into the square on the Feast of Trumpets Nehemiah 8
· The Law of Moses that the Lord had commanded Israel was read on this Feast day
· “This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn or weep.” For all the people wept as they heard the words of the Law. Nehemiah 8:9 (the weeping noted here is conviction for the law is now known)
· “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. (The feast days are meant to be enjoyed)
The rediscovery of law continued to be read and understood every day. Nehemiah 8:17
And all the assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and lived in the booths, for from the days of Jeshua the son of Nun to that day, the people of Israel had not done so. And there was very great rejoicing.
And day by day, from the first day to the last day, he read from the Book of the Law of God. They kept the feast seven days, and on the eighth day there was a solemn assembly, according to the rule. (Getting back to the Word)
After 24 days of reading scripture, the congregation where edified in the word of God and they began the process of sell-assessment repentance and the confessing of the SINs of the fathers. To make Atonement for all the wrong doing. I recommend reading the full chapter Nehemiah 9. I will highlight the points in a list.
· Israelites separated themselves from all foreigners (Holy people not of this world)
· Confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers (their former leaders)
· Gloried his Supreme rulership with worship. (respect of God’s Might)
· Glorified his works at the red sea for delivering the first exile
From verse 16 they review the mistakes of the past leaders
· Our fathers acted presumptuously and stiffened their necks and did not obey your commandments
· Committed great blasphemies, made for themselves a golden calf god
· Cast your law behind their back and killed your prophets (this is like hating on those who preach truth)
· Therefore you gave them into the hand of their enemies, who made them suffer (this is the church today)
Further mercy and glory extended
· According to your great mercies you gave them Prophets who saved them from enemies
But they returned to evil again.
· But after they had REST they did evil again before you, and you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them. Yet when they turned and cried to you, you heard from heaven, and many times you delivered them according to your mercies. And you warned them in order to turn them back to your law.
Now that Nehemiah has reviewed all the team oil and noticed the extended mercy & warnings and revivals etc. he pledges for forgiveness for the whole house. (We need to come together in leadership)
· “Now, therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love, let not all the hardship seem little to you that has come upon us, upon our kings, our princes, our priests, our prophets, our fathers, and all your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria until this day. Yet you have been righteous in all that has come upon us, for you have dealt faithfully and we have acted wickedly
The Oath of Restabilising the Convent
“Because of all this we make a firm covenant in writing; on the sealed document are the names of our princes, our Levites, and our priests to join with their brothers, their nobles, and enter into a curse and an oath to walk in God's Law that was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the Lord, our Lord and his rules and his statutes. (Shall we count the number of all believers and pledge rededication?)
WHAT CAN THE CHURCH OF TODAY TAKE FROM THIS?
AWAKEN, I THINK SO! The difficult thing for Christian leaders and believers today is blindness and denial, the “blinding of other gods” 2 Corinthians 4:4 this is the tactic the devil used on Solomon and it’s very much used today in the world and church. This blindness has enabled the false teachers to stand on the pulpit. The bible warns us to not be subservient to other gospels Galatians 1:6 (such as the LGTB) or other gods Luke 16:13 we are to outcast them from being heard.1 Timothy 6.
The Spiritual kingdom of Jesus is everlasting and cannot be over powered by evil, this is true. But our own minds is where the temple of Jesus dwells 1 Corinthians 3:16
Our minds is the battlefield for the influence of lies& amp; spirits “for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
Are you serving other gods? Can a Christian lose their Salvation do to other gods? YES!
1 Timothy 4:1-2 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.
The Church Apostasy is a form of dividing of the temple NOT dividing the Kingdom of Jesus; it is the temple in our minds that is getting captured. But the Lord is not dealing with the temple inside us the same way he did with Israel by tearing it down. No it all us that is doing the damage in our minds if we choosing to ignore the warnings Holy Spirit and the bible. Jesus wants us to be fruitful with our relationship but won’t force us. The Holy Spirit will knock at your mind with convictions but if ignore it? It will stop.
What are the other gods the church? I’ll name a few.
1. Keeping of Pagan traditions such as Christmas and Easter
2. Money can be a god to anyone. Pastors have abused their rights in this to
3. Seeker sensitive (putting man before GOD)
4. Yoga, New age interests (universalism)
5. Kundilini spirit worshiping. This is a major error in the charismatic movement
6. Listening to the doctrine of devils over reading the bible. (yes a lot of pastors preach lies)
7. Fake ministries of signs and wonders. (people that request money for “GIFT” conference)
8. Catholic veneration of angels and dead saints, worship of Mary, Etc.
The Church is overdue for a revival | we need come back to Jesus and his principle.
Just like the house of Judah, we need to unite as one people, drop the other gods, the lies from the wolves. Be the “light” separation from “darkness”. LOVE EACH OTHER and witness LOVE move.
Kingdom Principal for Blessings
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbour as yourself” Luke 10:27
The instructions for revival are clear. We must first self-assess and repent in the physical, live by the WORD of Jesus and His Father. We need to drop all denominational divisions, and glorify the Father in Spirit and truth. The church is under spiritual attack by false gods and the antichrist. Only sound biblical principal can overcome this. Such as, being BORN AGAIN, PUTTING AWAY THE CHILDISH THINGS OF THE WORLD AND LIVING ON SPIRITUAL FOOD & LOVE.
True Revival is not about seeking a sensational encounter of the God, whilst during the week you are partaking in serving other gods or under deception. This is putting emotion ahead of God’s will.
